I am an interdisciplinary researcher combining theoretical methods and insights from philosophy and ethics with methods and frameworks from other disciplines - mainly data science, health research and sustainability. I am passionate about bridging the theory with praxis - particularly, how different conceptualizations and theoretical approaches impact practical issues such as evaluation and design of technology, but also design of research projects or formulation of research questions in trans- and interdisciplinary collaborations. In my research, I focus on epistemic and ethical issues of human-AI collaboration and interdisciplinarity in healthcare, data science and sustainability. I am examining conceptual and normative questions such as:
To what extent should conversational agents be humanized? What does it mean when AI is entering our epistemic space of making-decisions and reasoning?
How can we bridge different epistemic cultures between health research and data science to foster meaningful and successful interdisicplinary projects?
